Frequently asked
questions.

  • No, I no longer accept insurance for new clients. Services for new clients have shifted so they do not fit into the medical model which health insurances require.

  • I have found that keeping services within the rigid restrictions of health insurance requirements is both limiting for the services I offer to my clients as well as personally unsustainable to me as a private practice practitioner.

I can now ensure the following to all new clients:

*You are the expert on you and what care you need.

*You will be seen as a whole person rather than a disorder or cluster of symptoms.

*Treatment length will be determined based on when you feel complete and can confidently say “I’ve got this on my own now” rather than what is deemed medical necessity.

*Any records I keep will be from a humanizing and anti-pathologizing lens.

*I can guarantee the utmost level of confidentiality, ensuring that your records will not be viewed by a health insurance company.

  • Telehealth counseling is $165 for a 60-minute session.

  • Bodywork is $120 for a 60 minute session.

  • Services need to be paid the day of your appointment via credit card, debit card, or HSA.

  • I accept a limited number of clients to keep my caseload at a place where I can energetically show up with complete presence and authenticity for each session. This is the way that I respect my own nervous system’s sensitivities and needs. And I believe it is the way that I can be most impactful for the client’s that I do see. This is factored into how I determine my rates to cover the cost of maintaining my business.

  • As a general rule to maintain clear boundaries, I will see a client for either individualized bodywork sessions or counseling, not both.

  • As a general rule to maintain clear boundaries, if you are actively working with me at a different agency, then I cannot work with you at my private practice.

  • My licenses allow me to work within Oregon only. It is important that you are currently in Oregon, even if we are meeting via telehealth. If you are a current client and you are traveling out of state temporarily, depending on the state, there may be an exception. If you have questions about this, please contact me and ask.
